Made by and for the South Asian diaspora, The Cosy Desi Club aims to bring people together through in-person events and online spaces and give a home to stories, art, and ideas that reflect our culture and identities. At its heart, it’s about collaboration and community, and creating a space where emerging and established creatives can share their work, connect with others, and feel seen.

The Cosy Desi Club Magazine — Issue 3: In Protest
Released in July 2026, Issue 3 brings together 43 contributors from across the diaspora, each responding to the theme In Protest. Across poetry, essays, visual art, photography, music, and experimental work, the issue looks at what it means to resist - on the streets, at home, and in the body.
This issue holds work that confronts genocide, austerity, and the systems and governments that displace and define lives. Alongside this are internal refusals: the daily acts of saying no, of not disappearing into what’s expected.
In Protest moves through anger, solidarity, and survival without trying to resolve them. What comes through in this issue is protest as something that’s both collective and solitary, but always urgent in the way we respond.
